Vision

To cultivate a spiritually connected, informed, and engaged church family where every member feels seen, valued, supported, and empowered to grow in Christ and actively participate in the life and mission of Messiah Baptist Church.  We seek to strengthen the bond between members and the church, ensuring that both new and existing members remain connected through fellowship, discipleship, worship, and service.

Mission

To welcome, connect, restore, and retain members by fostering meaningful relationships, promoting active participation of every member in Messiah’s educational ministries, and to identify spiritual, personal, or practical barriers to participation.  We are committed to warmly receiving and orienting all new members into the fellowship; reaching out to inactive members with compassion and care; and to providing timely reports and insights to the Pastor and church leadership.

Goal 1—Reconnect Inactive Members

Within each quarter, contact 100% of members who have been inactive for 90 days or more through phone calls, text, email, or personal outreach. By the end of each six-month period, encourage at least 25% of contacted inactive members to return to worship, Bible Study, Sunday School, or ministry involvement.

Goal 2—New Member Integration

Within 30 days of joining, ensure 100% of new members receive a welcome contact, orientation information, and connection to at least one ministry or discipleship class.

Goal 3—Leadership Reporting

Provide monthly membership reports to the Pastor and/or designee that include:

• inactive member contacts
• recommitments
• new member onboarding
• concerns and needs identified
• ministry participation trends
